Hi chaps,

Over the weekend, my G reg 110 pickup has started squeaking when turning right. It doesn't do it all the time, sometimes it's just a "ting" noise sometimes a proper squeak.

Noise seems to be coming from the drivers side wheel - is this something to panic over, or just something to add to the character of the truck?

I really am a novice when it comes to mechanics, trying to learn but struggling!

cheers,
Joe

Could be a wheel bearing neding taking up.
When you turn the wheel moves slightly in relation to the disc and the pads will squeak.
Something to check, not the definite answer.:)

You have my vote.;):)

cheers for the replies, I don't think it's the power steering as that is always noisy! It's more of a metallic noise, I shall try to check the wheel bearing tomorrow!

thanks again,
Joe
