Hello on my 200 the back brake calliper ns

one of the split Pin holes the inside of the tyre is broken it seems ok been like it for A month now

Is there a cheaper fix the make another hole or is it new unit ?? MOT on tuesday so what do u thing guys !!

MOT guy will probably miss it.. But as the pin holds the Brake pad in the caliper. I'd be looking to get a new caliper or your likely to brake hard and spit the pad out of the caliper.

Cheers for replying redhand

Only one hole has snapped on the caliper so the pin goes through on hole then to two on the brake pads then rests on the caliper so is there anything u or anyone could recommend ??? Apart from new one haha !!

if you fit new you need to do both imperial caliper with hex headed securing bolt around £36 each part numbers rtc5889 rh and rtc5890 lh metric bihex headed securing bolt £30 each stc1264 rh stc1265 lh

Do u think I will be able to put some sort of weld with a hole for now ???

Its the brakes !!! dont bodge them. Pick up a secondhand caliper if funds are tight, but I would sort it out before it all goes pear shaped.
