i was tought on my car test, 7.5t lessons, and 2 hgv tests that it was only 7.5t upwards that had different speed limits, am gonna find out why i was tought this wen am back in work tomorrow. i must have speeded loads wen hiring vans then.

Depends when you took your test think they changed the 60 to 50 limit in 2004 (IIRC)

so do the commercial landys with no back seats/windows count as a van then for this speed limit or they at normal speed limits?

Well they were classed as dual purpose and therefore exempt from the speedlimit changes. But the gov has done away with Dual purpose vehicles for the mot test but don't know whether it extends to speed limits as well
