YES/YES/Temperature, strong, length and quality of the Spark produced....

Wrong plugs, have been the cause of pinking or knocking due the spark being at its peak at the wrong point in the cycle....also different plugs run hotter or cooler than others too...

From my experience on various engines, if you use the recommended plugs you can't really go wrong. If you try and be clever you can cause yourself headaches. Even the premium performance (boy racer) expensive ones give very little if any gain and some times make your engine run like a bag of spanners swap em for the correct ones and everything's hunky dorey, so fit a decent make recommended by the manufacturer and have a stress free life

Does anybody know where I can get a set of RC11PYB4's?
Been googling for about an hour now with no results.
Cheers for any help offered.

Question for Saint really I assume that the year is to do with the engine management rather than yeAR of manufacture of the engine - know it sounds a numpty question but might help others as well as me ;)
