Then our experiences have differed, which is fine.

I've fitted many blue box parts over the last few years and yes some are of poorer quality, but I've yet to find any completely unworkable.

My outlook on it was I'd rather do my rebuild for a reasonable cost fitting Britpart where I can and perhaps fit OE quality stuff where I'd rather.

I've had to go back and replace a couple of items along the way that didn't last as long as I'd hoped, but I'd rather initially fit cheap and replace with better quality later when needed land rover spare parts dubai, than double or triple my budget to only fit OE quality parts where it might not have been necessary.
What's the best and cheapest source for OEM accessories?

Am I correct in thinking that a manufacturer that sounds like British Parts is to be avoided?
Only if you are a fool tbh. Lots of names, lots of brands. But often few manufacturers. Some parts very good. Some less so. Depends what you need and what your budget is.

Nothing wrong with Britpart?
If your on the bones of your arse and are used to junk then yes. Quite acceptable. I have been sold such and can honestly say every part has either been unfittable or prematurely failed. It’s why retailers avoid telling you their supplier and go to great lengths to keep it from you until the blue box of shame lands on your doorstep.
Maybe you are an unlucky person in general? Like having a grey cloud following you all the time?

Plenty of Britpart parts are perfectly fine. And I’m willing to bet many items that may be sold in other boxes probably hail from the same factories.

And let’s not forget a vehicle is made of thousands of components, chances are you have sample only a tiny selection.

I’ve used many items over a huge array of Land Rover products. And I can’t say I’ve had any issue with any of the Britpart bits. Certainly no more so than any other brand.

Less of a factory and more of a bare footed chap crouched in the dirt 👍

I’d love to sing crappy budget tat from the rooftops but I value other road users and my own safety. Not that the junk is guaranteed to actually fit without an engineering workshop. 🥰

It is my experience that Britpart have upped their game in recent times.
It is also an issue that there are rubbish parts being sold in box's like those of the mainstream makers like Delphi, Mintex ect that are poor, fake and even reputable sellers are being caught.
Sadly it seems trading standards are unable to get a hold of the problem or have the people ability to do so.
