If it is too deep for vehicles it is too deep for people. Trust me on this, do not wade through deep water, it doesn't take much to wash people away. If you don't have access to an outboard, don't even risk your life. Sure it sounds harsh to say this, but horses know how to source food when they need it. Don't risk your life for an animal. It isn't fair on the family you leave behind or the poor bastards who have to recovery your body.

I think I prefer snow catastrophes rather than water ones. I hate water. especially stinky muddy poopy type water that fooks up my discolectrics.

Flowing water can be an evil element, which isn't respected by enough people :(
Hense why we see so many stories about peeps in 4x4 being swept away
 
To be honest when it comes to deep water rescue not sure should even think of getting brave in the Landy.

Mine I could only partially trust right now. Can't get diff plugs out.
 
Well it might not be fast flowing, could just be standing water across fields. But still a proper pain in the relays if it is deeper than you.

Oh and I wonder if gozzy is stuck in a puddle.

It be the devils work. He moves in mysterious ways when the hazard lights flash for no apparent reason or smoke appears from behind the dash and then magically disappears.
