I thought I had a fault with my charge controller as it wasn't connecting to the load (DVR) but I think my battery was a bit low
I had emailed the supplier on eBay and got the following response which is hilarious. You got to love the Chinese warranty approach -

Dear buyer
Item has been checked carefully before sent out, did you check the manual and follow it to operate it? Can you help me try again? Maybe you have missed some critical procedure. If still not work, how about partial refund to you. Then you can go to have a check in your local country, and fix it well? Is it ok? Any result, please keep me informed. Please don't worry, surely will give you a good solution.

As I said previously, to load output is switched off to protect the battery when the voltage drops too low.

Yes, i remembered that, so i started the car for a few minutes and it kicked back in to life. Not sure what it's like now as have been away all week
