Flipped the chassis over to spray the top side, won't be long before we
have a rolling chassis

Wow that's looking amazing one beautiful range rover once finished

Thanks Geoff.

It won't really look a great deal deal better on the outside as it looked pretty good to start with, its almost a shame that all the hard word etc will be covered over.

I'm looking forward to the first test drive but that's still a little way off yet

The 8k outlay, are you paying for labour included in that or is that just parts? if so whats the labour and parts coming in at?

Labour is ontop of the £8k parts bill, by the time i'm finished with new engine, re paint and interior trim the cost of the project will be over £25k

Shell is painted and the chassis is being re built

Looking fantastic, will be incredible when done.

Thanks Stu

I have a problem though and can't get new rubbing strips, i've seen some aftermarket ones
but there nothing like the originals.

There are a few odds and ends available but not a full set so looks like i'll have to leave it painted
with these which is a shame.

I'm looking into trying to get a set made, i wonder who made the original ones LR bought ?

Rubber strip? The window ones? I got my windscreen one from, I think Island 4x4. Might be worth giving them a call

No Stu, the rubbing strips that stick to the wings and doors

Yes Adam, i looked at those and they're not even close to the originals so i personally
wouldn't fit them
