Adrian Flux Insurance - Click Here to get a quote!
Hi guys, just a thought! Have you any feed back from the NFU??. I am with them and told them of the mod's that have been done to mine, and insured for a fixed price, did not seem to bother them. They seemed to expect the upgrades as long as they are noted. Done the usual search and they came out on top!.

My reason for going with Flux is the fact that Ed is pretty active on this forum. Sorta gives you the feeling of a 'local office' where you are face to face with someone that actully cares about their business.

I too am a big fan of Ed at AF, he took the time to give me different quotes during my search for a landy, always made sure I got what I wanted.

having had to deal with other insurance brokers where getting the quote let alone other info seems like you are pulling teeth, Ed has been great to deal with.

Cheers Ed.

got quote from AF £550 got cheaper at swiftcover at £409 td4 hse 05
ED you can ring me if you want to try and beat £409

Just renewed my insurance on my L322
Now insured with flux for the 3rd year running

These guys are usually 30% cheaper then anyone else
Never had any issues with them :)

I phoned flux for a quote and it was gonna work out at 44 quid a month  I'm paying 29 quid with co-op and the lass I spoke to said they couldn't beat that

You should have spoke to me ;)... Send me your postocde and surname - I want to look into it all for you. Plus it helps us tweak our schemes so that we can compete.

You're prob too old, Flux quoted me zillions with no claims clean licence and standard defender, think its cause I'm over sixty
Mind you it was the same when I was under sixty, I get ripped off by insurance companies, never had a claim, had continuous insurance since 1964 and now have two years no claims, don't understand it:confused:

Its because I have been switching insurance companies as the one I was with for many years kept upping my premium till I could no longer afford it, no loyalty bonuses these days, they just want as much off you as possible and if you don't like it you can go elsewhere:(

Too old? Lol im only 27 and with 7 years no claims too.

Ed if you want I can pm you my phone number if you reckon you can beat that ;)

Lol. No idea what happened, my phone cut off and froze. It's a pile of crap.

But yeah that does certainly work out cheaper. I shall give it a think and let you know :)

I have just started a thread after an issue with Lancaster and where I went to Flux even though they were slightly more expensive. One of the issues I had with Lancaster was that they were kicking off about me even fitting a spot light let alone any serious mods!! They were very unhelpful and so I went with Flux.

Just been quoted happy by Flux - 12 seat 1997 CSW with loads of bolt on goodies (no engine performance mods though). The really good part for me is that I can make more (non-performance) mods and don't have to advise them each time I change anything. Looks like I'll be fitting that machine gun turret after all...

I think a lot depends on the underwriters. I'm with Lancaster (well Alianz via them) and with all my mods declared they were happy, but there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing before a quote was forthcoming.

To be fair, Adrian Flux were probably more savvy about common mods so I didn't have to explain every last bit of underbody protection to them, whereas the staff at Lancaster were obviously less familar.
