200 tdi, topmount intercooler, straight through exhaust, parabolic springs, 900-16 tyres, discovery diffs (and still spins the wheels :D)
 
OK, '57 88 in California. First one is with Rover Rondezvous in Panamint Valley. Goler Wash trail, Mengel Pass, Death Valley Natl. Park. Second is down in the Sacramento Valley flatland.

a 4x2 PRS ??

rather an unusual landrover series there and to some folks it would be strangely desirable (a friend has/had a 4x2 S2a)

any pictures of the axle and gearbox/transfer box ?

there were a good few series 1 4x2's i know that. my mate has one but 4X2 series 3, thats not very common at all. i hope youll send the axle etc to a good home
