Hey guys!

I know it's not heavy but today is the first time I've used my Hippo in the snow!
I must say that I do feel safer than I did I'm my old MG ZR!
Still need to remember that I will still slide if I'm but careful!

How is everybody else getting on?

Just remember : I the road is icy, don't matter how many wheel drive you have, you WILL slide when you brake!

You'd be suprise at the number of 4x4 owners that don't understand that!

Sleeting in Surrey and yup, 4x4 does not make a huge difference on ice, especially as the wheels need to slip first on a Freelandy before anything happens!

Defiantly!

Just a dusting here in St Albans.

In 3 months time we'll have moved to the Peak District, i'm expecting very different snow experience.

:nopics:

Try driving on this with summer tyres! ;)

Even with winter tyres and 4X4 you need to be careful and be gentle on the pedals.

Took this pic less than an hour ago - :clock: - temperature was -2C

Singvogel.

plenty of snow on the peaks in Buxton

Don't share you lot's fascination with the white stuff. Last time (proper snow) was complete havoc with trains, roads, pavements, a right pain in backside - literately! We're just not evolved for snow.:(

Freelander will not fly so could not even get out of town because of the traffic , Gave up and took the day off :deadhorse:
