Mines been 75mph, can still manage it now with a tail wind. Motorway driving it will sit at 65mph all day only dipping to 55 on hills because I can drop to 4th at that speed. It’s a gutless engine after 40-50mph but will just plod on and on.

@Huddy84 - Fast start the curve flattens as they say after 40mph and were neck and neck after 30 secs, i had to extend the x axis to fit yours on
ive swapped the 2286 engine for a 200di now, ill have to see if i can get a test run out in it

It was the point I had to change into 4th I lost the power. I’m surprised it’s quicker at the low end than the 2.25 I thought the petrol would’ve faster

i guess it would be, although we havent had a petrol yet , mine was a 2286 diesel , waiting for JJKM now

Amazing to read this thread, Dad had one and said it was slower than continental drift..

My TD5 Auto i had to work hard to get past 65 ;)

Okay, I don’t gave a tomtom or anything though. Will look to see if there is an app for a smartphone although then I will have to look at a phone, hold a go pro and a timer!

Although I could get the timing off the video I guess

Something wrong there.....I would say the speedo is out.....is it still on 600x16 tyres.....and it may be in high O/D or have a high ratio diff in at least the rear axle.
