My P38 is pulling to the left, so need to get it jacked up to see what the problem is. Wondering if it's an alignment problem. I've also noticed that I'm getting slightly less MPG (BMW 2.5 TD engine) Been told this could be due to diesel thickening when cold. I still need to get a fuel heater (?) that the fuel filter screws into and also the connector plugs as well. Hope it's not ****ing down tomorrow :)

The fuel filter has a heater fitted.
As said, pulling to one side + binding brake which will affect fuel consumption.

Go for a drive at least a mile were you dont have to brake then stop (again without breaking) and feel the wheels see if ones warmer than the rest, if you havent used the breaks they should be cold enough to touch the disks, if ones binding you'll know

Check the brakes. But also remember that we are now on winter diesel with anti waxing agents added. MPG always drops slightly in winter.

Never noticed any difference in fuel consuption in winter with any of my stuff, I reckon it's more cold starts, slow warm up and short journeys, Mine rarely does runs of less than 25Km:)

Maybe, my fuel computer is tits up at the moment don't know why. Will have to do a bit of digging when the weather gets warmer. I know the fuel gauge sensor is knackered so that's not helping. Have new pump and sender to fit at some stage but will have to wait until i can drop tank i am not doing the hole in the floor bodge. See what happens then and go from there.
