What no .50 cal? Pussy
There are only 2 or 3 places in the country you can shot a 50....the closest to me is Sennybridge in Wales or maybe Lydd....

Warminster and Kingsbury are a bit far out! and Warcop definatly is!!!

+1, thats what put me off once I got certified on the MoD Ranges - Ammo is bl**dy ridiculous on the 50's plus I would have to travel bleeding miles to shoot it, so I put the very pretty Rifle back on the Table and told the guy thanks but I'll stick to my HPS System Gemini F Class instead...

Heck you can't even run a .338 Lapua local to me and Bisley is only a mile up the road!!

Me and my box of toys taken at a Venture Studio for a photoshoot:
Gemini Barrel in Anschutz Ali Stock, Pair of Desert Eagles (The Twins - Blank Fire), a Black Berreta 92 (Blankie), a Nickel Berreta 92 (Blankie), A Colt Government and a Colt 1911A1 (Blankies), a Smith and Wesson 586 8" Barrell and a Smith and Wesson 586 6" Barrell (.177 Air Pistols)

Also a couple of me and my Longbow, one of me and my Browning Cynergy and unfortunatly I don't have any of my 70" 40lb Recurve Target Bow as yet....!!!

And the final one is the 50 I was pondering but decided against (photo taken at the 2011 Phoenix Rifle Meeting at Bisley Last July)

I had a pair of Barrels to fit the stock, a Gemini F Class 308 and a Anschutz Match 54 .22RF

In Feb this year I sold the F Class Barrell due to the rising cost of Ammo, I have tried hand loading using a friends Lee equipment, but could never get consistant groups, so I sold that and stuck to the much cheaper .22RF....even then Eley Match and Tenex is going up in price, may have to give that up too and stick to Archery - atleast you get your Ammo back :D

I'm the same as Big Si. wish i still had my toys :(

VFR was knicked in the middle of a busy road in caracas.

CBR was bought in boxes and i rebuilt it in 4 weeks. including all the hand polishing on frame and stuff.

Thanks Si :D
lots of blood, sweat and tears in that project. took me ages to get all the bits over to Venezuela. but once they were all there, the hard work started.

i'd do another tomorrow if i had the cash to do it. but the hips aint as good as they were, dont flex that well now for sports bikes, hence the rear-sets.
