But the wifes spat the dummy out she says and i quote
"im not puting any more money in that cos i cant get in it ether sort it or sell it"
So my problem is shes 5ft tall and im gona need some side steps if anybody has a spaire set?
Also is there any way to set the eas to drop to the bump stops when you switch it off ?just so its low enough to get the moning cow in
Or is that not recomended
If it was just a mater of her not getting in id say tuff but shes got the saving account so need to keep her sweet lol

Just remember to lower the system to access before you switch it off.....and tell her to stop moaning!

You can set it to access mode which puts it on it's balls. If you can't get in on access mode, you can't get in with sidesteps.

I was wonering if it was possable to program the eas so the access level is even lower using the data cable
Does anyone know if any model had grab handels to help with getting in

There is crawler mode which allows you to get into car parks/garages and such which rests the vehicle at the lowest it can get without deflating the tyres. Its in the owners manual how to activate it.

That is just Access height using the inhibit switch...is no lower than Access IIRC...

Go to Access height, press the Inhibit Switch....EAS MANUAL displays on the message centre....you will now be able to manouvre the vehicle at Access height without it automatically rising to Standard until after 20mph(?)

Don't know if there's much difference between height in P38 and L322 but my 5' tall neighbour manages to get in mine without steps. Seems the OP has the right model of veh but there is a fault in the wife's settings. I can only suggest a reset on the wife.

My partner is a tad taller at 5'3" but she has not had any issues with any of my Classics, my P38's or my L322.....

She obviously need plugging in and having her settings tweaked:eek:

I would concur with that. Whilst the moaning would probably continue , it may be more agreeable noise than the current moaning. Thus affording the OP some relief . :)
