mondo Banned Mar 2, 2007 #2 Is it spinning the starter motor fast enough to engage the inertia gear onto the flywheel. if not take it out and give it a good clean and a coating of graffite powder yer did put the flywheel on it dint yer ?

cjprosser New Member Mar 2, 2007 #3 yeah, battery was fully charged and it's been running well for 12 months. It just wouldn't start after going to the stops yesterday...

Fatrover Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2007 #4 see an eralier fred by me about this.. are you gettin a spark from ther plugs then ? i had exactly the same problem an it turned out that the starter was tryin to turn the engine but the timing was real far out....

cjprosser New Member Mar 3, 2007 #8 Good News, having removed the motor, cleaned it up a bit and coating the bendix in WD-40, it has started working again, (at the mo)!!! Cheers guys!
