my aim is that tommorow i will have it totally stripped and ready to put the axles onto the new chassis, but we will see how it goes!! :)

your doing a great job there, again nice to see a young one doing so well, congrats and keep the updates coming...

today was bit of a slow and tricky one but i did get the tub off and the seat box and floors are either out or ready to come out so tommorow the plan is to get the axles out

the new chassis is now in the garage and waiting for the axles

thanks matey

and according to my mates who spend their days on street corners :) it is a waste of money!! but i think its worth every penny! (and it is much more fun in the workshop, even on boring days!!)

and yes i am very lucky to have all the equipment to use... or according to my dad borrow and not give back!

lolz - it's all about Life Skills - your doing yerself a favour - common sense, working things through, attention to detail.....first aid...patience....budgeting....fadvanced first aid....welding....burn treatments... the list goes on :D

Theres only so much you can learn when yer out at night in a hoody drinking meths.....:5back2::5bdrool5:

I'm happiest when i'm under/in/on top of/bleeding on/swearing at my landy - i wouldn't have it any other way TBH. Apart from drving it along a boggy lane through what is probably slurry, or another dodgy substance...

:D Well done Sprog, it's coming on nicely. I reckon you're doing better than some of the old farts on here!! :D

right been down the workshop since i got home tonight
last night putting the bolts back on the drive members i found that on had a bolt that was not original and way to big and with a nut on to make it fit and just to finish it off someone had ripped the thread out on the big bolt as well!!

so it just so happens that my dad just had a set of hubs lieing around in the back of his garage and so ive changed it and now all the bolts go in!!

ive put new hub caps and drive member bolts all round, im going to clean and paint up the front drums tommorow night and then i am going to think about fuel tank, engine and gearbox!!! finally :)

tonight ive painted up the hubs on the front and the drums and sorted out everything else to do with the axles, i had ten minutes so i scraped some s**t off of the gearbox and it looks like it is going to come up quiet nice

so of course some pics:
