I've always wanted a landy and I hope to get one some day, I was just wondering as I will be driving next year if they would make a good first car? Such as insurance and the like...

definitely for the insurance and if tax exempt all the better, depends what you want from a car, they are not the comfortableist things on the road, but you can basically do what you want with it regarding adding stuff

Right that's definitely what I'm getting then. I wasn't sure if it would be big due to the engine size but I'm happy with that ,taa
Now just got to wait a year nd a bit..

Get a 109" then you have room in the back for...errm... stuff that you'll find out about when you're old enough

It's not a "CAR", doesn't even look like a "CAR", never was a "CAR". It's a Land Rover, get one, you'll enjoy it. :D

(Unless it's a Gaylanderer)

A basicgood understanding of mechanics would help save garage bills. Sure someone will correct me but insurance may be higher on a 109 if it is registered as having seats in the back.

I've quite fancied a Landy carawagon. Handy for a few weekends away etc. 4 berth I think ...... so room for her sister as well (or mum) ;)

The only thing I will mention is some insurance company's dont realise how slow a series land rover is as they are determined to concentrate on engine size. But if you shop around you will be able to get it cheap.
