had head off replaced timming chain kit followed haynes plus local landrover dealer no joy cheers roy
Never had a diesel myself, but there's a fairly explicit guide in the Land Rover manual - you need to make sure the valve timing is correct first 'cos you can get that wrong without too much trouble.
