My dad taught me all i need to knowAs Intarweb rants go, that was pretty impressive for one of tender years. Keep it up, but do avoid the blue box stuff if you want to stay sane. Your welding's getting much better too!
Yes, it was, full of mud, acorns, leaves, rocks, rust, metal, just about anything you could think of, was in the chassis rails lolwas one of those rails full of mud?
Oh thats bad. I tend to reach for the napalm death.................. Smash a single digit.Would it be bad to say the only thing getting me through the lows with this chassis is phil collins?

NeitherSeparate leaves or hanger long enough?
That's a good idea.. i'll try that thanks. Are the rods dry try baking them in the oven 1st.
I saw a friend do that once, good to keep that in mind. It's best to bake the rods dry as suggested, but you can dry them whilst welding by striking them on the work piece or a bit of scrap and holding them there without the welding gap and they soon dry out.
One would hopeyou will have a decent chassis once its all painted and finished
