Hi all
Richard, happily retired and living in a village not far from Bristol.
I've actually owned a Series 2A V8 for many years but have only just got around to dragging it out of it's lair - a not very weatherproof barn.
I had an exact copy about 12-15 years ago (2A truck cab with V8) but sold it when I got a quad to get around our small shoot. This latest one was meant to be a retirement project......
Anyway, the 2A is not too bad once the worst of the debris & cobwebs were removed. The first task is to remove the plugs, soak the pistons with oil and see if it still turns over! And I'll need some new mud tyres as the current ones have flattened over the years and cracked / perished!
