That's a bit close to home - when did it happen? And, of course I'll keep an eye out.

Hi there, I've been following this on Facebook Landywatch and I must say I'm gutted for the family, the Land Rover looks in lovely condition and as a Land Rover owner I would be devasted if any of mine were taken away from me.

I've googled the area the lady has stated it was taken from and from the amount of swimming pools I can see in the gardens Cobham must be a fairly wealthy area, if so I'm sure that most of the houses would have cctv fitted?
Also I'm wondering about the garages and business in the area, most have cctv now and you never know they might have stopped for fuel!

If it was pinched and driven to the thieves lockup then I'm sure it can't be to far away and I would be surprised if the drove on the M25 or north into London.
If on the other hand it was loaded into a lorry or into a all in closed trailer then it could be anywhere by now unfortunately.

I really do hope that they find the old Landy and I'll be looking out for you in the southwest and on all the auction sites!

There has been a possible sighting of it going towards Chester, we suspect to Holyhead ferry port :(, police just don't care
Thanks guys

Yes I've read that on the Facebook page but sounded a little vague with only thing really sticking in the ladies mind was the canvas tilt being in good order.

I've traveled through the port of Holyhead many times as a truck driver and like all uk ports it's full with cctv so might be worth speaking to the port police rather than normal police.

Talk to the normal police and the port police. Rule one out and you reduce yer chances. You must give them something to go on anorl. Try to find the time of theft, method of theft... It's looks well looked after and quite distinctive compared to most vehicles on the road.

The issue we are having is the police have said case closed this was not even a day after it was stolen. We have asked them to look into cctv etc, had various possible sightings one being a fake reg on an identical that was on a trailer. Again the police don't want to know, unfortunately

Don't think the Police will get this one back for you until a member of the public tips them off about the vehicle in whole or parts!
If your referring to the possible sighting on the trailer in Devon being pulled by the silver Range Rover that's not your Landy unfortunately, that's a series 1 and if you google number plate there is photos of it.
I've been following it on Facebook which is where I noticed the possible sightings but the fact the lady called it a J**P made me check the plate out!
Hope you get a break soon before its to late.
