Third build, and things are starting to get interesting. Finding an Anglesey registered Series 1 was impossible but stumbling across one on Anglesey registered in a near by county Denbigh was close as I was going to get.
First registered to Sir Alfred McAlpine of 80 Park Lane London and garaged in Denbigh this old girl was worthy of being recommissioned . Initial thought were how am I going to get her home ……… then after some gentle pruning she emerged…..

Glad to see you have the truck cab. This is another thread I will watch.
Check the lead times for bulkheads/chassis these can be 6+months
But hey it gets you time to clean rust.

What was the engine? 1.6 petrol side valve ?

Judging the price of a new chassis and bulkhead it will take me longer than six months to save enough money! Even though I’m planning on a long term project if the last two restorations are anything to go buy it’ll be ready by Christmas! 😂
Engine is a 1997 cc petrol

Send them a link to your previous renovations...and they will be falling over themselves to supply whatever you need in the shortest time possible. :D
