Sorry to hear that. It does sound like that you have to think along the lines of what caused your ecu to fry. There are other select neutral possibilities like xyz switch etc but don't think any of them would take your ecu out. I didn't even check my TB motor just went with the above hunch and bought a known good one off a breaker £40. Good luck

A bit of an update on this.
New, well second hand, Transfer Box Motor fitted & all is well, no more flashing lights or Select Neutral on the display.
The old Motor is seized solid, obviously why it fried the ECU in the first place. Are these fixable, or is it destined for the scrap pile.

Some are:)

Great news very satisfying when you can get rid of that select neutral message
Yeah, tell me about it.
Twas looking like one of those faults that was gonna be a right pain to sort, but with the help from here it was sorted & not too painful to the pocket.
To be honest, It's a job I can do myself & last Sunday was the day, but guess what it ****ed down all day, so it didn't happen.
Went to work on Monday told me Gaffer what to do, including dropping the Tranny fluid, the first of three before I do the filter & last change & I got a bill for £40 including Tranny oil, he does come in useful at times I suppose. :D
