Are yer looking at DIY fit or professional fit the alarm? Yer need one with volume sensing and vibration sensing.
A tracker would be a good idea anorl. Also etching the windows with its identity or isr https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/security-etching-glass.242382/

I would concur with all that Lord Hippo has decreed, but just to add, that, whilst electronic security is an important aspect of the overall solution, most Landys are very prone and 'exposed' to disabling of those vital electrics. I know some kit has battery backup and if you're fitting a tracker, make sure it has just that, but the bottomline is the physical structure and layout of the Landy does leave many with that exposure. For me, physical security in the form of pedal guards, steering wheel security, etc, is a genuine, effective and very visible deterrent in a vehicle that does not have the luxury of fully enclosed anything!
I would just add that you check out eBay for great value glass etch kits (some guys on the forums here have reported excellent results) and expect to pay, circa, £15 and not the rather rip-off £30+ on Landy spare sites, IMHO. Also consider the tracker options on Amazon; the botton-end devices retail for £30; something I'm thinking of taking a punt with!
Good luck. T.

The ISR etch labels in me link above includes yer vehicles identity recorded on a register. If yer heap is stolen then tell them and they will put it in the register details. Anyone finding the vehicle can ring them or look on their website to see if the I'd is listed as stolen or not. Link also etched with yer unique I'd number ont window.

The etch kit etches windows. It also has other labels to etch paintwork and plastics. They also do desperate labels for cat and dpf marking anorl. Both ont same register.

There's multiple options fer security. Stop it being nicked. Make it more difficult to nick. Mark it to help someone spot it's nicked at a later date. The last one is yer only hope when it's gone. Sad but true.
