security light flashing rapidly,doors arent unlocking properly,and ignition is locked. just bought this thing this week. already disappionted.please respond with any suggestion.

What ever disco first make sure the fob battery is 100%.

disconnect battery wait 10mins re-connect battery

its a discovery II. i changed the battery in the remote. the doors are unlocking with remote but ignition is still locked. security light is still rapidy flashing.

Sounds like your fob has gone down. Have you dropped it or let the chip fall out when you changed the battery?
