Easy job if you know what you are doing and have good tools. If it's gone because someone has replaced the ball joints and not set hub height correctly not quite so straight forwards.
Sockets spanners and determination mostly. Plus gas as well. And grease for refitting drive shaft.
And a hammer!
My CV boot replacement guide will have what you need. Just stop once the shafts are out.

You probably don't need to take the hub nut off so a bit easier.
It's a lot easier to feed the drive shaft back through the oil seal without damaging it with hub detached. But not impossible with hub in place. Just a lot more care needed.
That way lies madness! next thing you know there's a new car on the drive.
You have just made the job a lot harder. You now have to get the ball joints out and back in. Not an easy task without some additional tooling.
Apparently he likes to sit and hammer his todger with a mallet for light entertainment.
There is nothing entertaining about changing the ball joints, it can be a ball ache without good tooling. Even with good tooling it can be a challenge.

So you will need a press with the appropriate parts to remove/replace the swivels and a tool to re-centre the drive shaft
