Ball joints haven't been changed when I was looking at it last night what type of kit will I need wammers I have sockets spanners and determination
Sockets spanners and determination mostly. Plus gas as well. And grease for refitting drive shaft.
And a hammer!
My CV boot replacement guide will have what you need. Just stop once the shafts are out.
Have you got a link to that grrrrrr
Cheers mate
You probably don't need to take the hub nut off so a bit easier.
I have ordered the seals and a cv boot as it looks a knackered I have also ordered new ball joints may as well do the lot while I am on with it

You have just made the job a lot harder. You now have to get the ball joints out and back in. Not an easy task without some additional tooling.
Apparently he likes to sit and hammer his todger with a mallet for light entertainment.
So you will need a press with the appropriate parts to remove/replace the swivels and a tool to re-centre the drive shaftI have ordered the seals and a cv boot as it looks a knackered I have also ordered new ball joints may as well do the lot while I am on with it
Maybe I will just bing it in garage to get it done or just do the seal for now and get garage to do ball joints eeekkSo you will need a press with the appropriate parts to remove/replace the swivels and a tool to re-centre the drive shaft
