Why would you just scrap a decent motor?!? Makes no sense. I've always said if I had a classic car wreck, any clasdoc and the scrap boys offered me £200 but a club took it for free it would go to the club

Keep classics going.

Honestly I don't want it to go to scrap which is one of the reasons it's on eBay.

If I had the space I would keep it, without a shadow of a doubt, but we have 4 cars between 2 of us and only off road parking for 2 cars.

If I only I had more room!!

drive it to a scrapyard (not a breakers) and weigh it in as scrap be worth about £200 then.. Scrapping em is all they're good for anyway.
Hey now, easy Pikey. You're messing with my self esteem. Even though the pound is worth more than the dollar. My RRC is my daily driver.

Well, for those that are interested, it went to a new home late last night.

I didn't get much for it, but I got more than I would have if I'd scrapped it.

Now I have a few spares to shift, so on to ebay I go!!!

You can't say you wanted to scrap it then complain when you only got £500 for it...
