Seriously. How did I not see it earlier? Obviously need to do better to keep up. I wouldn't choose a Lambo 4x4 though. Nice looking supercars but not sure how I feel about the 4x4 version though.

same I said when the Evoque came out - being an FL3/modern Mondeo not a RR, and they laughed.

Not laughing now are you ****ers o_O
Expensive badge stuck ont a Hippo you bought ; paid dearly for that learning curve
(Also sell in high numbers)

They’ve made them before it’s nothing new and that applies to the tractor too. Previous models were predictably OTT with really bad styling and huge engines.

Take it you missed it ignored the bit about Lambo Tractors above then ;)

btw this isn’t the first Lambo 4x4 either. Remember this:

An evoque isn't a Freelander. Its not that good and reliable. Its a rr. Says so on the bonnet.

What engine / platform they got?

No RR has a 2.0L D
The early evoque had the same 2.2 diesel as the FL2, but the SD4 was only available as an auto on the FL2. Then the evoque changed to the ingenium. The D5 has a 2L engine option. So does the rr velar. Both ingenium. Wonder if they break down often like rr's.

You know full well if you want a decent FL you get an original or an FL2 if you like bit of luxury.
Others just a hippo you pay silly
Money for a badge. Many people still think RR/LR are two different makes as the industry continues to diversify the models while homologising them all the same time

LR split the LR and RR brands to make them more identifiable and give them their own recognition. It was felt before that they somehow lost their identity oversea, which lost them sales.

I think you mean Ranges. They are all the same brand.

They advertised the change when they did it and why. When yer go to a main dealer you will see land rover (disco's) and range rover as separate brands, both made by lr (jlr). So they have/present two main families of vehicles. The new tratter is separate. The Freelander name was dropped as part of this. :(
