They got it spot on first time with the Defender as they did with the Series.

I read that Land Rover has stamped on this "Defender replacement" project with a mountain of copywright/patent documents and threats of litigation.

Well, l was wrong with that statement because despite LR's efforts the Grenadier is alive and well.

I was going to buy one but couldn't get delivery before March 2023 (when a govt tax incentive on commercial vehicles ends)

l ended up with one of the new "Defenders"
Although it's nothing like the old one, it's a very good vehicle and in base 90 Commercial spec with the steel wheels it does at least look something like a Defender.
