He has a 3-way manifold with taps on to isolate the different appliances.

Price for a used bumper is almost the same as a new one, plus collection/delivery costs, so we'll get new.

We get trade discount and free delivery on LR parts.

The surrounding ply is GRP covered and there isn't a lot of heat coming out sideways.

Came out of the house this morning, someone had hit the front nearside of the Discovery and smashed the front bumper.

No note to say 'It was me', just drove off.

Bastards

Anyone with CCTV cameras looking in that direction? Also keep an eye out for 'regulars' that have a damaged car, not that you can prove anything without the evidence but always good to know who the scrotes are!

Nothing in the close that I know of, someone might come out later with some info, but not holding our breath.

it is so annoying when something like that happens, we get it round here occasionally usually on a Friday or Saturday night, probably don't stop because they are over the limit

Philip has been piping up the LPG inside the trailer, feeds for the water heater, cooker and fridge are in place, there is also a spur off to where the Propex warm air heater is going.

I'll get some pictures later.

Pictures as promised, the floor mounted regulator feeds the water heater, cooker and fridge, with one feed left for the Propex heater.

Fridge goes over the top.

There will be drop-out holes in the floor beneath the appliances, to allow any LPG leaking from joints or the appliances themselves to escape.

Peter

Personally, I would still put a heat barrier for the cooker - particularly round the back, as the heat from the oven vent can get quite severe!

on my boat I have a bubble tester on the LPG system- quite cheap and it give peace of mind that there are no leaks

Last bit of the LPG piping in place, fridge goes over the top on a support shelf.

Spare manifold connection is for the warm air heater.

Just read this from start to finish. The quality of work is excellent, and the fact you are just getting on with it despite your health problems is inspirational to say the least. Hope all goes well for you, and can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks, Guys, sounds awful but probably not as serious as the open-heart surgery I had last summer. It's just the long-term implications that are more serious if you don't go through with it.

Re the trailer build, don't lose sight of the fact that this is Philip's build, I'm just helping and advising :) :)
