More cladding arrived today, but it was a slightly different pattern, smaller sparkly bits, so Philip is going to use that in the shower and order more of the correct one for the interior.

More stuff on the weekend, unfortunately I was out on my back with chemotherapy after-effects so didn't get back into things until today.
Philip has been round the body seams, finishing off seam sealing, fitting a radio aerial, and picked up a 1200W inverter generator on offer at Lidl for £129 or so. His old 2-stroke genny is 800W output and needs 2-stroke mix, the new one is a four-stroke and has some clever features.
We have a new LIDL just round the corner, so being a bit of a showcase store they tend to run offers through here first.
They are also in stock of the folding bed/seat unit that has been popular with small van converters, they are about £40 if my memory serves me correctly.

The folding mattresses are now, I think, £39. We have 2 sets, one for the caravan and one for a guest bed. Having spent 4 weeks at a stretch using them, we find them very comfortable. They are, however, in Continental sizes, so are longer than a standard UK bed, and 2 side by side are about 4' 4". We have altered ours to be the correct length and made fitted sheets to suit - so the double bed is 2 matresses side by side each with its own fitted sheet - makes making a double bed ib the confines of a very small caravan fairly easy.

Something I've never understood about caravans is why the single sockets? A double socket costs only a few pence more, takes no extra work to install, and is a great help with the large number of electronic gadgets and their chargers most of us use.
Worth thinking about when putting in your mains circuit?
Also, you can now get a double socket with 2 USB power outlets, for easy charging of phones etc that use this power source.

Managed a bit of work on the Mercedes, got the last window out on the driver's side this week and all three new panels in place, with one fitted with studs.
The white coating is the protective film on the aluminium sheets.

Halfway through chemotherapy, gives me 8 days of feeling cr*p but 10 days of being able to do things on the Mercedes. The cycles are 3 weekly, six altogether, followed by 15 days of radiotherapy. Plus I am still working full time at 70! Only part days while I'm in my 'bad' days.
We've got all the repair panels fitted on one side now and three out of four new windows fitted.
The arbor press that I use to fit the M4 studs to the repair panels:

The rear doors are coming out permanently and a large single window going across the back with a full-width opening door for the storage area under the bed.
