Right then, as the PLAINS trip looks chock a block, I'm proposing a laneing trip on the same day, following the route guide in this months LRO. In accordance with GLASS this will be limited to six landies, but if more are interested we can always split up and run in different areas.

More on meet location and contact details later, but for now, suggest say, 10.00am at the start of route 1, or some landmark nearby.

2) Thor
3) Tazz

you know what's going to happen? you'll end up with 20 people wanting to go, everyone throwing a strop, then you'll have 12 in the group and the others on reserve will start a thread like this one...

then, when they start a thread like this, they'll get 20 people wanting to go and then... LOL


i think there will be around 200 landies on the 26th driving around Salisbury lol
 
Well, looks like just about everyone is confirming their attendance on the Plains trip, so the Lanes trip is looking more likely. Any more interest in this? Note, I've not driven these lanes and will be running off the December LRO write up.

Sounds like a plan to me!!

Gutted that we didn't make it on the plains list but reckon this will be a good day out.

As I've now made it onto the other list you I will take my name off this one. Hope you understand.

Have you thought of PM'ing the other reserves on the list for the other event?
 
Ok, a bit or organising. Meet point:

The Greyhound, 31 High Street, SO20 6EY. On the A30 west side of Stockbridge town centre at 10.00am.

The LRO route is covered on OS Landrangers 183, 184, and 185.
 
Hi Stu. Looks like I missed out on the plains trip, as still stuck on the reserve list. So would love to come on the lanes trip if there is still room.

Cheers Minty. It also means if there are a few last minute drop outs, the Lanes folks are already in the area. However, I'm never shy to a bit of boat rockin though:D

just thought the sunday may have been a better idea as it comes accross as fcuk you lot we will organise our own trip and do it on the same day as yours
