I don't do any off roading but have to go through 6" deep puddles after heavy rain so the snorkel
6" puddles.....you could do that in a standard freelander.......then again the doors might fall off
The pic in the attachment shows the safari parts .. it comes with the almost L-shaped part on the left that you attach to a standard (modified) airbox .. basically you cut a square out of the box and attach the part with silicone seal ..
You'll find they're made of unobtainium unless you're dead lucky, as safari don't sell them separately!
Personally I'd buy a waterproof in-line airfilter and plumb it in between the safari outlet inside the engine bay and to the standard airbox pipe to the turbo ...
TBH, 6" of water would be fine in my renault Laguna and no issue at all for any Landrover without the snorkel at all.
