Jesus. Is it just me or is that difficult to read? Not sure if you are trying to sell it, repair it or what. Perhaps a list of questions instead will help rather than one massive sentence!

I'm glad its not just me thats struggling;)

The bodies always look good, if the chassis and bulkhead are shot its not going to be cheap to repair, but its got to be worth 200 pounds for the spares alone.

Must be an early one as 2.0 diesel was replaced in 63 i think.

On another forum i asked how many 2.0 diesels on the road and we reckoned about 12 ish plenty more in barns etc.

Series 3 Sweet 16, look, you are probably a really nice person and I do not wish to insult you but unless you have someone help you with your blog inputs you will be opening yourself up for ridicule. I find your big sentence too confusing as each sentence runs into the next. Stop for a breath every now and then and put a dot then start the next sentence with a capital letter. I genuinly hope this helps. Good luck matey.

If you want to keep it original why are you on about lengthening it and fitting a 110 tub? It will look cack with a 110 tub on as the spats will ruin it, or if you take them off you will have HUGE wheel arches.
The lwb chassis is significantly different to the swb chassis, I suppose you could just lengthen a swb chassis but it won't be much good...I'd leave it as a swb if I were you and keep an eye open for a genuine 109.
The 2 litre diesel is a rarity, but don't just go on what the logbook says, get it checked out.

Fair point, thank's guy's, oh and CrashBox you have a valid point there and i do not see what you said as an insualt infact i thank you for pointing it out, Sometimes i get excited on the question i post and it come's out all wrong but again thank you for you patience and fair points towards me and i will try harder to stick to the basic and go off on a tandam

Translation:

I have found a Series 2 with a 2L N/A Diesel engine, truck cab and complete with the log book for sale for only £200.
The clutch and brakes are currently seized and the bulkhead and chassis are rotten.

The engine was rebuilt 10 years ago, although the bottom end rattles.

I have just taken some drugs and got a whacky idea of destroying the classic land rover and bodging on some chassis extension and 110 defender bits, but, when i come down from this high i will realise this is a silly idea.

Do you reckon it is worth buying and restoring as a classic and putting back on the road?

I would say dont buy it but let us know the location so someone can buy it and rebuild it who knows what they are doing.;)
