Purchased originally as a donor vehicle some years ago complete with what I believe is an original 200TDI I am now questioning whether to keep the vehicle whole as its been an age since I've seen one. Has anyone else noticed an absence of S1 Discovery vans out there?

Most have been scrapped as had hard life on farms.

There's a guy in our village who has had them for years.
He's still got one that he uses daily.
You don't see that many D1's of any type.

A lot had their engines pillaged for old 90/110s when they weren't worth anything and were then scrapped. There's a noticeable lack of D1s about these days, but particularly vans. Keep it and restore it!
