Well, I finally got me diff apart..........................


Sorry I took it out the housing, it was AREADY apart :eek: :eek:

By the way, me nooo axle has a 4 bolt flange, an me old un has 3 bolts for a rubber coupling thing. Does this mean me noo 1 is acterly an old 1 orf a 200TDi, cos if it is I needs a new prop shaft anorl. :( :(

Dunt spose any offers out there - rear prop needed urgent for Disco with 4 bolt flange at both ends, can swap for a 300TDi one with a brandly new rubber coupling, still in packet :eek:
 
hi dv it all looks pritty fu...ed to me i hope you donot blame me as my gass could not have done it that was YOU HA HA hope that you get it back together soon
 
Have managed (with the aid of a blow torch :eek: ) to get the input flange off the 300 diff, just got to see if it'll fit the 200 input splines. If so problem goes away, if not I'll be after Si's number about a new prop.
 
I didid it :)

Input flange will swap over once yu get the spacer off the input shaft of the 200, so don't need another prop now.

Just gotta put it on tomorra, wont that be fun :rolleyes:

At least you fit it on your own at home rather than on the roadside in close proximity to drewsters arse.;)
