I took a video from the rotor arm (). It is moving back to it´s original position, but it only moves a few degress. Is it oaky like that?
The spring in the top of the distributor cap is still working, but I have a second cap and rotor arm, which I am going to install tomorrow.

I thought you had spark at the plugs? if so why are you still replacing ignition parts? you have wet plugs after cranking so youve got spark fuel but no fire it's then got to be mechanical there is nothing else left...

Yep that is normal..

As for compression it should fire fine on those readings..

You may have spark but surprisingly i've worked on a fair few cars that have spark, but nothing like what it should be.

Drop a small amount of oil down the bores and check the compression again, should narrow down whether you have piston/ring/bore issues or HG issues if the compression jumps up then you have your answer..

Not doing too bad :gunner: How's things with you?
Okay getting to the end of a nut and bolt S2 resto for a UK based friend...he bought me a load of steel to build a carport/garage built one side of it then had to winch the chassis/bulkhead with springs/axels sideways to put the other side up bloody nightmare will get it finished tomorrow with help from Lucy getting the steel panels on the top...

Sounds like good fun, wouldn't mind a S2 myself, my old man had 2 of them back when they were 10 a penny..

Good ones are worth a kings ransom now...
