Yep, I goes through some water and look what 'appens.
I got sum welderising to do to my exhaust as well, got a large crack in the right hand downpipe where it bolts onto the manifold.
I think going in that cold water did it
Mind you, DV threw down the gauntlet saying I should go through the deepest bit - and, well you know me.
(Had my fookin doubts mind).
Those girlie tyres gripped really well :D

You mean this one?

Well I am parked between two modded Discos.
DVs to my right has 265/75 tyres plus a 3" to 4" lift (Just like my old Disco).
Drewsters to my left has a 2" lift on 235/70 tyres.
My Disco is standard height on 235/70 Recip Trial tyres on modular rims.
I'm not going stupid with the mods this time (Although I've just fitted some later Disco II headlights).
Might not even bother with lifting it as it coped admirably with whatever I chucked at it yesterday.
I'm not as big as I was Nelly - I'm 6'3" and 19 stone.
Six months ago I was 24.5 stone..........

Well the RACman turned up and connected his lappy to the EOBC....... No Fault Found! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
Nope, not a thing in stored memory, so off I went around the village until the symptoms came back. RACman connected up again......... No Fault Found????

WTF??????????????????? :(

Looks like a trip to Landrover to get a proper look at the EMS GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

It's been mentioned, erm, DAVE  that the fault was with your EGR valve sticking?
Does that mean that you sucked up abit of water when you were giving it large in that big muddy puddle?
I don't know anything about TD4 engines, but would a flush through of your EGR valve with a bit of WD40 help?

Well I'm not planning on losing anymore weight for a bit. Why not put in a request for some.................................

........................................TUBBYCUSTARD!!! :behindsofa: :hysterically_laughi :bolt:

.

Well yeah the EGR was suspected but there is nothing like confirmation before ripping things off, especially when I'm already paying for the recovery service. Its just annoying that the diagnostics didnt highlight the fault. But as you say a squirt may well sort it out, so thats a job for Tuesday then ;)
