You got the terminals round the wrong way?
At least it's working now - might need it to pull Grippa out next month

well yes and no !!!
i made it a bit more compliated than should of i used anderson connectors to the winch should have it sorted by weekend !!
perhapes we should send grippa down d v favorite lane !!

A long, ongoing story fflump.
Goes back to the first time we met Grippa and Daft on Salisbury Plain.
I got stuck on my diffs in some ruts and Grippa never let me forget it, particularly as I knew the place well and had driven it before many a time.
I was on 235/70 tyres and he and Daft were on 235/85 tyres so they had greater clearance under their diffs.
I had to climb out the window Dukes of Hazzard stylee as the door jammed up against the mud banks.
Daft winched me out - much to everyone's amusement.
Then they drove through where I was stuck just to prove a point, despite my axles having scraped it clear.
I have never lived it down since.
Now I'm on bigger tyres, so hopefully I won't have the embarrassment again.
