When hot every now and then and more with electrical Load seems to misfire and almost cut out then when you rev it even a little it's perfect

Looked for air leaks and can't find anything
New temp sensor air flow sensor and idle valve
Still the same checked base idle and timing all ok
Cleaned the throttle out

Could anybody suggest anything

Check alternator output and battery, clean main earth points. If you have a dizzy with the ignition amplifier on the side then try a new ignition amplifier, they play up when hot which is why the remote amp was used in an attempt to keep them cooler.
 
you wanna know what it was when I had this? The TPS and yes I changed EVERYTHING else first, I mean EVERYTHING - FFS! :doh: lol:p
 
I think you will probably only be able to test tps function by substitution with a known good one as it has mechanical parts and electrical
 
Ok we replaced the throttle position sensor and it seems better but not right
There was a bog on start up which has now gone
But still misses when hot
Can't set the base idle as it starts to run rough at low revs

Any ideas thanks
 
did you do all the igntion parts with genuine bits or magnecore and clean and sort all the earths?
 
Ignition amplifier
Figured it out when we tried to make extended wires and move it away
Wouldn't start
But due to no earth when moved
We put it back and it started
Give it a wiggle and it then started to play up
