hi ive just got a freelander 2001 v6, and the engine light keeps coming on the fault code is saying running rich, anyone know best way to sort this out

p0172 system too rich, bank 1

Its probably as simple as a failing spark plug which is causing a partial misfire.When were they last changed ?

dont know ive just bought it , the guy said it had just had a service but will get them sorted
