Yep it's all techy
Whether you believe it or not, it's fact.
The chorific ratio is lower than that of petrol
Yes that is true..Very true. Another disadvantage of LPG is that it burns slower than petrol, so the spark has to be significantly advanced to get total burn in the cylinder. The LPG control system should accommodate this need.
My 3.5EFi has been on LPG for years. IIRC I did the conversion in the late 90s.
Did a top end overhaul year before last & the valves & seats were in excellent condition.
Gearbox.Seems I’ve opened a can of worms here guys but unfortunately the car I was looking at was a bit worse than had been explained bloody people not describing things correctly ****es me off but now going to view a 4.4 L322 with lpg today. Not the p 38 I wanted but still a full fat RR, and please no remarks about going to the L 322
Petrol engines from what I read about seem less troublesome as there the ZF box not GM and don’t put so much torque through them
So instead of dropped liners on the P38, you can enjoy water in the electronics with the L322Seems I’ve opened a can of worms here guys but unfortunately the car I was looking at was a bit worse than had been explained bloody people not describing things correctly ****es me off but now going to view a 4.4 L322 with lpg today.
