Hi

Does anyone know where these can be custom made? I have a 2" suspension lift, and don't want stainless braided lines I want rubber instead.

Reason being I want to be able to clamp the hoses if need be. And original length aren't long enough for the suspension lift.

Thanks in advance

Dunno why you'd prefer rubber over stainless 'for clamping' .. I just remove the caliper and zip-tie it out they way.

Paul, do you leave the caliper connected and zip tie it out the way? If so what do you put between the pads to act as the disc?
Are yours stainless hoses?

if you move a caliper thats still piped up you dont need to fit anything between the pads,i do find the ability to clamp helpful many times though

I'll need to press the brakes with the caliper tied out the way though James. Won't it push the pistons out too far?

(I'm trying to find out why my pedal travel increases when turning. Already tried everything)

yes you would need to place something between the pads in that case at least as thick as disc a off cut of 13mm thick wood would do, odd fault yours it will be interesting to know why, generally you say wheel bearing but youve been through those

Cheers James. I've got vented discs up front, so about 22m aren't they? I've got a used set of front pads in the garage, could I put two old pads between the current ones to act as a disc?

So if I remove caliper keeping It connected and tie it safely out the way of the wheels with something between pads I should be okay to go for a small safe drive on a private road with lots of cornering to see I can isolate which wheel is the cause?

Yes, but I've never needed to use the brakes without a caliper attached, so don't put anything between the pads.
