Hi

I've got a problem with my Range Rover sport it's a 56 plate 2.7 tdv6 hse the steering feels heavy all the time no matter what speed. It turns smooth with no knocks or bangs but you need to put more effort in then you should but it does get easier at faster speeds due to needing less steering effort. The fluid level is correct but it hasn't been changed since I owned it. Could somebody point me in the right direction I am confident to have a go myself but just need to know what I'm looking for really .

Thanks in advance
Liam

I take it as read that your tyre pressures are correct.

Yes I check yesterday funny thing is I've just drove 1 mile to work turn car off did my bits got back in drove off and it seemed really light then 500 yards back to been heavy. Do you think power steering fluid could be the problem

Does the fluid look OK to you ?

Well this morning I got under and took the plastic cover off and managed to get eyes on the bottom uj so I sprayed a full can of wd40 but still no difference.as the wife turned from lock to lock I watched the joint and it turned freely but I wasn't sure if it should have more movement side to side or whatever? I just want to make sure it's defiantly not the bottom uj before moving on. Also the servotronic valve is it worth removing and checking for any obvious Damage?

Thanks in advance
