Just bought a defender with a light bar fitted. They worked beautifully for a week, then fused ( I think).

So which fuse will it be?? An extra or the one for the main beam. Have to admit I haven't had a look yet. They look like they've been fitted properly and I've got an internal flick switch.

Also some fecker keeps nicking my wind screen wash nozzle.... I had two go in as many weeks. Short of wiring it to the mains and frying the little pikey I'm not sure how to keep it on.

The roof lights should be on a separate circuit, maybe switched via a relay from the main beam circuit, and the dash switch, which should be illuminated. So try tracing the wires back from the roof. If it is like most home installs the fuse could be anywhere. Must likely pushed up behind the dash.

Yeah, just depends who fitted them. There will be an inline fuse somewhere in the system I would imagine. I fitted mine in the dash.

had hat mans right should be on a seperate circuit fused and relays fitted
