Cheers I think I know where it is it has 2 wires going to it from air intakeYes, put a head torch on as it's set back a bit.

those pics are of the post turbo air-intake-temp.-sensorIs it the other end of this
Thanks for that I thought it was below the one I put in the picture. Hopefully pretty easy to get to thenthose pics are of the post turbo air-intake-temp.-sensor
map sensor (manifold absolute pressure ) .. see post no.6 here

can only say i've removed the plug ..Hopefully pretty easy to get to then
OK cheers I'm took the egr off months ago it' a 2003 have I got to put it back on for Motcan only say i've removed the plug ..
was easy to get to .. didn't have to dismantle anything
not sure about removing the sensor itself
many folk remove the intake manifold
and give that a good clean-out
and .. i think .. use a spay cleaner for the m.a.p. sensor
( do not go poking objects into it )
best to have the egr valve deleted ..
as that causes the majority of the baked on gunk in the manifold itself
( i.e. that's a small amount of oil from the turbo .. normal
( plus hot exhaust gas from the egr valve
n' that gunk ends up blocking the map sensor
note: 2018 mot rules require the egr valve to be fitted a.f.a.i.k.

in theory .. yes ..have I got to put it back on for Mot
OK cheers my mate has his own Mot station and says the new regs don't apply to older cars but I will put it back on if there is a problemin theory .. yes ..
however it's possible to to have the egr fitted .. but inoperative anyway ..
i'd re-attach the vacuum hose(s) .. but block it (them) off internally ..
