I'd second the use of high temp adhesive to do the roof. First one I did I used normal evostick but it sagged after a couple of months and I had to do it again.

Haha yea. Well if I ever do a clutch again it's definitely engine out job. Much easier imo. :)

Goodnight luck anyways.:p

Cheers. Definitely looks a lot better than it did. The trim may get the paint treatment tbh. But planning on boarding out the back to store stuff. Mainly spares, tools and off road gear. Oh and of course something so I can brew up :D

Can't remember exactly how much material I used but I had quite a bit. Have a fair bit left over so may attempt the non abs dash next as the current one is peeling up by the windscreen. :(

Ha ha yep I'll probably agree with you once I've done it this way!

I'm gonna have to find some fabric and give it a go myself I think. Also wanna kit out the back for off roading and mobile tea making facilities sound great lol.

So what's the different between abs and non abs dash?

Loving the seat covers, need to get some for my Scooby seats in mine.

Haha yea definitely needs brewing up facilities. ;) can't go more than a few hours without a decent brew

Go for it mate the headlining looks so much nicer. Definitely a nicer place to be now. Just need to upgrade the crappy lighting now.

Er..... I meant non airbag dash....... Fecking autocorrect bollocks on me phone doing that. Then I can rip out all the associated gubbins and chuck it in the bin. Along with the air conditioning. Thats going in the bin too. Abs already has so may aswell save some more weight :D

And yea the seat covers definitely look good. Well pleased with them and easier to slide in and out of the seat too. :)

Snorkel is on! :D

Got the front end in the garage as it was absolutely ****ing it down :( bloody typical that it starts raining the moment I finish work to get home and do this!

But still it stalls when I cover up the air scoop so job done! :D

Now need to go find some big puddles. :p

Ah yes need brews on the road, always carry a flask in the lorry :) Thinking of fitting a sheet of checker plate to the boot checker plate on hinges and chains. Flip down table.

Yep I think I will, gonna try my luck and hold out a couple of months for a sunroof-less one and crack on with that. Led interior bulbs ftw ;)

Ah that makes more sense lol. I'd like a airbag less dash too as always worried I'll set it off at pay and play sites anyway lol. Need to change the steering wheel too.
My ac don't work either so think the compressor will make way for a second alternator.

:eek::eek::eek: Yep!

Dead easy, trace around it, cut it, add hinges and paint. :D:D

Tis alright :) I need to find the motivation to sort my fold down table. So your inspiration is more than welcome :D Just need to make the actual table part now.

Definitely gonna use your paracord idea though ;) the bloody things got enough annoying rattles as it is I don't want to add to it :p

Ah just looked at the photos again, metal grab handle on wing nuts. Take them off, lift table up and reattach.

Best I order a second door checker plate then.

Hey guys.

Was bored tonight and decided I need some recovery points on the front as I may possibly be going to a pay and play at the weekend. So........

Welded some recovery points to my steering guard. :D

Cut a slot in the guard shoved the recovery point through so it's welded to both sides and welded to the edge piece that mounts on the chassis. In all about an solid hour of welding.

Ran 3 passes on each side all the way round. Prep work probably took a bit longer than an hour but shouldn't see these coming off anytime soon. :)

May get to use them if...... When I get stuck. :D

Evening all.

I have finally got the roof lights wired up today and got my new carling switches fitted and working :D

Switches were located in the roof trim where the sunroof buttons were. Sealed the sunroofs up so may as well utilise the space for summit useful. :p

The 6 gang mount mudstuff sell fit perfect. :) Got 2 blanks atm but hopefully one day soon the 2 blanks will be for locking diffs.

Then the obligatory without and with roof lights on shots. :)

Now officially ready for playing in the Mud at muddy bottom tomorrow.

Cheers :D
