The clutch went on my Freelander 2 in the week and we have decided to look for another car rather than repair.

It’s a 08 Freelander 2 with circa 240k miles and full service history with 2 owners including ourselves (the other being my sister in law who purchased from new)

As I say the clutch has gone, the boot isn’t currently operational and a few nicks here and there on the body work.

Looking for advice on selling it to somebody to repair, for parts or scrap - who? How? Rough price? Any advice welcome?

The car is currently at the garage so no pictures as ye but can be arranged?

FL2 prices from: 900-21000?

Once you get some pics! Try selling on Landyzone!

Possible more pennies than scraping it?

I don’t think it was with anything in mind - looking at the MOT in March the advisories were slight play in near side steering rack inner joint, oil leak (not excessive) and break pads wearing thin (front/rear). Service from Dec23 3k miles left in front breaks and pads, cv boot perishing, power steering pipes corroded, various oil leaks (engine and gear box).

This is a forum for advice, not a place to flog tat or scam people.

You should stick to Marketplace.

If you really have a knackered motor to sell, list it somewhere to sell, you will soon find out how little it is worth.

Then get it towed for scrap if you can't be bothered to fix it.

I think he's pretty genuine mate, he's volunteered a lot of info.

Didn’t come to sell it just for advice on whether it was sellable or not or just needed scrapping. I haven’t the skills to fix myself. Thanks for your kind words Grumpy 😃
